• Nirgudpada (Kotamwadi): Approximately 48 km from Nashik and 121 km from Mumbai. This route is shorter and more popular among trekkers.

• Harshewadi: Located about 13 km from Trimbakeshwar, this route offers a slightly longer but scenic approach. 

????‍♂️ The Iconic Rock-Cut Steps

The highlight of the trek is the series of 117 steep, narrow, and winding rock-cut steps. These steps are divided into three sections:

• Lower Section: 60 steps with moderate steepness.

• Middle Section: 30 steps with increased steepness.

• Upper Section: 27 steps that are extremely steep and narrow, requiring careful navigation.

The final climb leads to a narrow entrance, adding to the thrill of the ascent.
